Islanders release two players ahead of road-trip
The Charlottetown Islanders have released forward Kyle West and defenceman Jaimen Allison ahead of their two game road-trip.
West played in 5 games for the Isles registering 3 shots and a -1 rating.
West was not happy with his situation with the Islanders and voluntarily left the team to return home to Ontario. He will play for the Brantford 99ers of the GOJHL.
Allison did not appear in a regular season game for this the Isles. In 3 pre-season games Allison managed 2 shots on-goal and a -2 rating.
Allison has been reassigned to London Nationals of the GOJHL.
