Sparkes sticking with the Islanders
Recently acquired forward Sullivan Sparkes has done enough to impress Head Coach Jim Hulton and will be staying with the Isles.
Sparkes is a 5’11, left-handed shooting forward who has played the last two seasons for the OHL’s Oshawa Generals. In 96 career games with the Generals the energetic 18 year-old has tallied 7 goals and 17 points.
Sparkes was originally drafted in the fifth round of the OHL draft after scoring 48 goals and 88 points in 62 Midget AAA games for his hometown Waterloo Wolves.
