Annual Pink Pasta Dinner this Monday
The Charlottetown Islanders and The Factory will be teaming up to take on breast cancer at the team’s annual fundraising dinner.
The Pink Pasta Spaghetti dinner fundraiser in support of The Canadian Breast Cancer Association is being held Monday, Oct. 23rd, at The Factory in Charlottetown. There will two sittings, 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
Islanders’ president of operations Craig Foster said the dinner, which has been held annually for the past several years, gives the team a chance to connect to the community while also raising funds for a good cause.
“Breast cancer affects many of us. We’re just happy to be able to lend our players and support to the cause,” said Foster. The dinner also gives fans the opportunity to see players in a different setting.”People support our players all year and this is an opportunity for them to sit back, relax and have our players wait on them,” he said. “It’s a fun night and it’s something we’re certainly honoured to be able to help out with”.
Tickets are only $15 and include garlic bread, spaghetti, and a non-alcoholic beverage. You can reserve your seat for this event by calling Trent in the Islanders team store at 902-892-7351 ([email protected]).
