Former Islanders leaving their marks on the AHL

The Charlottetown Islanders would like to congratulate former Islanders Daniel Sprong and Antoine Bibeau for being named to the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic.

Though 29 games this season, Sprong leads the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in goal-scoring with 18 and points with 28.

Antoine Bibeau sits 8th in the AHL in GAA, allowing an average of only 2.37 goals-against-per game. Bibeau is also tied for the league lead in shutouts with 2 in 17 starts this season.

The American Hockey League All-Star game takes place January 28-29 in Utica, N.Y, and includes an 3-on-3 round-robin tournament as well as a skills competition.
