GAME DAY: Islanders visit Screaming Eagles as road trip continues

The Islanders continue their road-trip on Friday and Saturday in Cape Breton with a double header against the Screaming Eagles. Cape Breton currently sits 12th in the QMJHL, holding a record of 29-27-6-1. 

The Screaming Eagles were red hot to start the season but have slowed down as of late, currently sitting 9th overall in scoring with 214 goals. 

Despite the slumping offence, The Screaming Eagles power play has not skipped a beat, holding the 5th best efficiency in the league, scoring on 21.9% of their man-advantage opportunities 

Screaming Eagles captain Phelix Martineau leads the team in scoring. In 63 games Martineau has 29 goals and 30 assists for a total of 59 points. 

Defense has been a struggle this season for the Screaming Eagles, allowing the 5th most goals against in the league with 238. 

 Their penalty kill sits 8th in the league at 80.1%.
