Register for the 2018 Ball Hockey Jamboree!

On September 15th, Kent Street becomes a ball hockey haven as the Charlottetown Islanders host the 2018 Street Hockey Jamboree from 8:00am until 12:00pm!

The one-day event, now in its fifth year, will be located on the section of Kent Street between Great George Street and Prince Street. Check-in begins at 7:00am and games start promptly at 8:00am.

The event is open to boys and girls ages 6-12 and is free of charge. Teams will consist of four players and will be joined by an Islanders player or coach. Each team will be guaranteed four games in the rain-or-shine event. All registrations must be completed with teams of 4.

Every player will receive an Islanders T-shirt, Islanders Kit Bag and a coupon for one youth ticket to opening weekend. Family and friends are welcome to attend the event with the recommendation that they bring lawn chairs for seating.

Water and a medical station will be on site to tend to any injuries or issues that occur throughout the day.

In addition to the ball hockey games, fans will have the chance to enjoy autographs and picture opportunities with Islanders players, a free BBQ, Papa John’s pizza, face painting and giveaways from Old Dutch and Pepsi. The event will be hosted by Hot 105.5.

Make sure to stick around until the end; following the jamboree, we will officially unveil the 2018-2019 Charlottetown Islanders roster!

A special thanks to Sobey’s West Royalty, Papa John’s pizza, Old Dutch, New Hot 105.5 and the city of Charlottetown for their continued support of the Jamboree.
