Trade Alert: Meisenheimer traded to Chicoutimi as trade deadline approaches

Oct 21, 2017 vs Shawinigan- Meisenheimer

The Charlottetown Islanders have traded forward Samuel Meisenheimer and a 7th round pick in 2018 to the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2018, formerly owned by Gatineau.

The Viking, Alberta native has 8 goals and 22 points this season, placing him in a tie for third in team scoring with the Saguenéens.

The Islanders organization would like to thank Sam for his lone season with the Isles, and we wish him all the best in Chicoutimi and in his future hockey career.
