2021 • 2022 Season Update

Dear Charlottetown Islanders Fans:

It’s been a challenging year for us all, but we are looking forward to gathering again safely for the upcoming season at the Eastlink Centre.

We are excited to announce that all Season Ticket and 15-Game Pack holders will be welcomed back to the Eastlink Centre for the beginning of the 2021-22 hockey season in their selected seat. In addition, a limited number of single-game tickets will be on sale at the Eastlink Centre Box Office.

While we will do our best to minimize the changes to our hockey season, games will not be operating the same as they have in the past. We have adjusted our operational plan to maximize cleaning, sanitization, and safety for attendees, staff & volunteers. All staff, volunteers, and attendees must be fully vaccinated (plus 14 days after the second dose) to attend a game this season.

How do I show Proof of Vaccination, and how will it be verified?

Anyone attending a game this season must present a government-issued ID, and either:

  • their COVID-19 vaccine record from their province or territory showing that they have been fully vaccinated with two doses of a vaccine authorized by Health Canada: OR
  • a PEI Pass with a number ending in B, indicating that they have been fully vaccinated with two doses of a vaccine authorized by Health Canada (if you applied for a PEI Pass when you had a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine, you must reapply for a new PEI Pass).

A person is considered fully vaccinated in Canada if they have received two doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and AstraZeneca, or one dose of Janssen.

Verification of an individual’s vaccine status will be completed upon entry to the Eastlink Centre. Please have your COVID-19 vaccine record or PEI Pass ready to present on paper or a mobile device.

For those who have renewed their season tickets and are vaccinated, we can assure you that you will be able to attend all home games and be placed back in your seats from the 2019-2020 season.

Anyone who has purchased Season Tickets or 15-Game Packs for the first time and is vaccinated can be assured that they, too, will be able to attend all home games and be placed in the seats they have selected.

Season Tickets and 15-Game Packs are still available to be purchased and are the best way to ensure you can watch the Charlottetown Islanders live at the Eastlink Centre this season. They can be purchased Monday to Friday in the Islanders Team Shop or by phone at 902-892-7351. Fans looking for more information on ticket packages can visit our website at

On September 22nd, all remaining single-game tickets will go on sale to the public. Further information on pricing and how to purchase will be provided.

As always, COVID-19 is an evolving situation, and as things change, we will make every effort to keep our fans informed. We want to thank everyone for their continued support and patience, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Eastlink Centre this season.
