Fan Fest returns on September 10th

The Charlottetown Islanders are excited to announce the return of Fan Fest!

To kick off their 10th anniversary season, fans young and old will have an opportunity to celebrate and get excited for another great season of Charlottetown Islanders hockey.

“Having some of our youngest fans be able to come out and play street hockey again against their favourite players is great, “said Craig Foster, President of Operations.

The Ball Hockey Jamboree at Fan Fest will take place in the parking lot adjacent to the Eastlink Centre. The event is open to boys and girls ages 6-12 and will be separated into three divisions. Teams of four can register for $20 and each participant will receive an Islanders t-shirt, kit bag,  and a coupon for a free ticket to the Home Opener on September 24 vs Halifax Mooseheads at 7:00 pm. Each team will be paired with an Islanders player or coach.

Foster said the event is just another way the Islanders can thank their fans and give back to the community.

“The Jamboree is a great way for us to get involved and connect with our young fans. This organization runs off of our amazing fans and their support, so it is very important for us to give back.”

In addition, a BBQ and Domino’s Pizza will be available for fans throughout the day.

Following the conclusion of the Ball Hockey Jamboree, fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2022-23 Charlottetown Islanders team and collect autographs and photos.
