Islanders add to depth with Saye

Ahead of the 2021 QMJHL trade deadline, General Manager Jim Hulton announced the acquisition of forward Owen Saye from Shawinigan in exchange for a 2022 9th round pick.


Saye was invited to Cataractes training camp in 2021 after spending the previous three seasons with the Sarnia Sting in the Ontario Hockey League. In 2021 Saye has recorded 6 goals and 8 assists in 30 games. He is a native of Toronto, ON.
