Islanders release six from training camp

Following today’s 3-2 preseason victory over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, the Charlottetown Islanders released the following six players from training camp:

F Zach Thususka
F Evan Gallant
F Nathaniel Doyon
D Connor McCluskey
G Nolan Boyd
G Chad Arsenault

Including captain Pierre-Olivier Joseph, who has been in Arizona preparing for the Coyotes training camp, and the newly-acquired Kevin Gursoy, the Islanders roster now sits at 25 players: 14 forwards, 9 defensemen, and two goaltenders.

You can catch the Islanders in action in two weeks, as they take on the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles once again on Sunday, September 9th, at the Evangeline Recreation Centre in Abrams Village, PEI!
