Islanders trim 6 players from Training Camp roster

The Charlottetown Islanders have trimmed their Training Camp roster down to 29 players after six cuts were announced by the team Thursday morning. Three forwards, one defenceman, and two goalies were reassigned following the 6-5 overtime victory against Moncton on Wednesday night at the APM Centre.

Leaving camp are goaltenders Niko Boudreau and Zachary Horth, along with forwards Carl-Anthony Masse, Jacob McLellan, and Boden White, as well as defenseman Edouard Vincent.

Six veteran players are scheduled to arrive on Prince Edward Island on the weekend and begin skating in Pownal on Monday.

The Islanders travel to visit the Cape Breton Eagles on Friday night before hosting them at the MacLauchlan Arena on Friday, September 9th.
