The Charlottetown Islanders are rolling right now. With all the momentum on their side, the Isles have headed to Quebec and will meet the Drummondville Voltigeurs in the first of three games in La Belle Province this weekend.
The Islanders (23-27-5-1) are winners of four straight games and five of their past seven games. Once at risk of missing the playoffs, Charlottetown sits ten points clear of the 17th overall Saint John Sea Dogs and firmly in 7th place in the Eastern Conference standings, just one point behind the Baie-Comeau Drakkar with two games in hand. Charlottetown is coming off a big 6-3 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at home on Sunday afternoon.
The Voltigeurs (23-38-4-1) ended a short three-game losing streak on Sunday afternoon with an admirable 3-1 victory over the high-powered Victoriaville Tigres. Drummondville is a different team than when they first played Charlottetown this season; once expected to be a strong team in the Western Conference, they’ve made moves to try and better position themselves for the future.

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
Charlottetown

- Former Voltigeur forward Simon Hughes returns to his old stomping grounds amidst a three-game point streak. Hughes has ten goals and 15 points in 24 games as an Islander
Drummondville
