TRADE | Beauregard traded to Halifax

General Manager Jim Hulton announced on Tuesday afternoon that 20-year-old forward Zachary Beauregard has been traded to the Halifax Mooseheads. The Islanders received a 2023 5th round draft pick in return.

The Repentigny, Quebec native played 168 games over three seasons for the Islanders with a total of 20 goals and 45 assists.

“It’s always difficult to say goodbye to players, but this one is particularly difficult. Zach has been a heart and soul guy for 3 years and won the hearts of Islanders fans, teammates, and coaches alike,” commented Hulton. “We certainly appreciate all that he has done for our franchise and wish him well in Halifax”
