Goulet returning from New Jersey

Another of Charlottetown’s top scorers is returning to the lineup this weekend.

Alexandre Goulet will be back in black and gold when the Islanders take on the Saint John Sea Dogs on Friday night, being released from his amateur tryout with the New Jersey Devils and returning from their training camp.

Last season, Goulet was third on the Islanders in scoring with 35 goals and 26 assists for 61 points. He added another 2 goals and 4 assists in 9 playoff games.

“We’re excited to get Alex back,” said General Manager Grant Sonier. “With him and Filip both returning to our lineup, it should make for an exciting weekend at the Eastlink Centre.”

The Islanders have a pair of home games this weekend, against the Sea Dogs on Friday and the Moncton Wildcats on Sunday afternoon. Tickets for both games are available at the Eastlink Centre box office, by phone at (902) 629-6625 or at
